WHAT IS CALL?

CONCEPT: In short words, Computer-Assisted Language Learning, or CALL, is an approach in which technological aids are used to support teaching and learning. It includes activities and tools that enhance language learning through visual and interactive materials. It encompasses learning rather than teaching; hence, it is student-centered, enabling learners to learn on their own. Markedly, CALL offers various interactive tools, multimedia resources, or virtual platforms to support students' language acquisition. Then, Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) can be defined as a powerful educational tool that employs computer technology to enhance language learning and teaching.
